Conference Chat: Featured speakers will be Kirsten Peachey and Rev. Janet MacLean

The Illinois Conference Ministry Leadership Team continues to invite you to an All Conference Chat: Devotions and Conversation for Clergy and Lay Leaders during Coronavirus Pandemic on Zoom this Wednesday, June 17 at 3:00 p.m. (central time).
We will have as featured speakers Rev. Kirsten Peachey and Rev. Janet MacLean. Theme: “Doing the Best We Can”. This chat will engage us in considering how we can do our best ministry in times of stress, conflict, and disruption by extending grace and generosity to ourselves and others. We will explore the three self-capacities that all of us are trying to meet in all our interactions and share how we see these yearnings showing up in ourselves, our churches, and our conference. And we will have time to practice self-compassion and moments of grace.
Rev. Kirsten Peachey is the director of Faith and Health Partnerships for Advocate Aurora Health. Her team works with faith and community partners to improve the health outcomes of the communities that are most impacted by health inequities. Rev. Janet MacLean is the director of Clinical Pastoral Education for Advocate Aurora Health. She served as chaplain and CPE educator at Advocate Christ Medical Center focusing on trauma, ethics, and pediatrics.
