Click here to download the flyer.\n\nRegister Now! After registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.\n\nReframing Our Stories \n\nWe often get stuck by the stories we tell about our church. What is your church’s story? Do you like the story? How can these stories be re-framed in a way that can heal the trauma\, conflict\, or hopelessness? How can telling and reframing our stories help us to see God at work? What stories of meaning and hope are going untold?\n\nWhen we gather together we will hear how three of our churches have reframed their stories. SUMMARY:Eastern Association Fall Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The theme for the Eastern Association Fall Meeting is "Preparing to Harvest Change."\n\n"[Jesus] said to them\, 'The harvest is plentiful\, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest." - Luke 10:2\n\nThe Illinois Conference is in a period of change and transition. Which makes this a somewhat unsettling time\, but it can also be an exciting time. Join us on Zoom for the Eastern Association Fall Meeting on October 30th from 10 a.m. to noon.\n\nWe have much to share\, we have a wonderful slate of candidates to elect into service for the Eastern Association and Illinois Conference. We will get an update from Conference Minister\, Rev. Molly Carlson\, on how the transition is progressing; and we will get a look at the Conference Budget for the coming year\, prior to the Conference Annual Celebration in November. We will also have a time of uplifting worship.\n\nRegistration is required. After registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
