DESCRIPTION:\nChicago Metropolitan Association Fall Meeting\nMonday\, October 3\, 2022\n6:00-8:00 PM via Zoom\nRESET\, RE-ENGAGE\, AND RE-IMAGINE!\nJoin us for the 2022 CMA Fall Meeting on Zoom! Some details are still being worked out\, but it is gearing up to be a wonderful event\, including conversations on Solar for Churches with Daryle Brown and WISE with Rev. Jon Gilbert Martinez. We will also be voting on the new slate of officers. More details will be shared once they are finalized.\n\nMeanwhile - get signed up to participate! Information regarding who qualifies as a voting member can be found below. Non-voting members are also invited and encouraged to participate in the event as visitors.\n\nClick here to register for the meeting. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. After registering for the meeting\, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom with the information to join. If you do not receive your confirmation email\, need it resent\, or have any other questions please call the Conference office at 708-344-7740\, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.\n\n \n\nBYLAWS ARTICLE IV – VOTING MEMBERSHIP\n\nA. Lay Delegates from the Local Church\nEvery Local Church that has standing shall be entitled to representation in the Association by two (2) voting lay delegates\, and in addition thereto\, each Local Church shall be entitled to representation by one (1) voting youth delegate (a person at least 14 years of age and not older than 22 at date of election). The Local Church shall choose its own lay and youth delegates.\n\nB. Historically-Related UCC Institutions\nEach historically-related United Church of Christ institution in the Chicago metropolitan area that wishes to do so shall appoint one individual to serve as a representative to the Association with voice and one (1) vote at Annual Association Meetings.\n\nC. Ministers\nAll ordained\, commissioned\, and licensed ministers who have standing in the Association shall be voting members at the Annual Spring and Fall Meetings of the Association.\n\nD. Association Council Members\nThe elected members of the Association Council shall be voting members at the Annual Spring and Fall Meetings of the Association during their term of office.
